Vilsack Campaign: Vilsack Winning 'Ideas Primary'

DES MOINES, IA - Yesterday, Democratic candidate for President Tom Vilsack continued to win the so-called 'Ideas Primary' when he unveiled a sweeping, ambitious plan to reduce carbon emissions 75% by 2050 and make America energy independent by increasing the domestic production of renewable fuels. Vilsack also vowed to run the first carbon neutral presidential campaign in American history. Vilsack's victories in the Ideas Primary stand in stark contrast to the "American Idol" stage of current news coverage of the current presidential cycle.

Vilsack's plan to protect America's energy security comes just 10 days after he became the first and only candidate for President to call on members of Congress to stop funding for the war in Iraq.
