Ron Paul's campaign buzz resonates on Internet

What remains to be seen is whether his online backingtranslates at polls

CENTER STRAFFORD, N.H. — In a New Hampshire meadow on a recent weekend, Ron Paul is without a doubt the main draw at a Republican presidential straw poll that attracts several long shot candidates.

Paying little heed to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Rep. Tom Tancredo, the immigration-control firebrand from Colorado, a crowd circles the Texan to quiz him on everything from foreign policy to the Federal Reserve's intervention in the jittery financial markets.

Owners Comments: I don't know about anyone else but I will NEVER support this lunatic. I will never support anyone, no matter what party he belongs to, that voted to cut off funding to our troops during a war.

Ron Paul: Perry's Bilderberg Attendance Proof Governor Part Of "International Conspiracy"

Texas Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul has added his voice to those who believe Texas Governor Rick Perry should be investigated for a criminal violation of the Logan Act after he jetted off to meet with foreign elites yesterday at the Bilderberg Group conference in Istanbul.

Perry's trip to Turkey is a clear violation of the Logan Act which states that "Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."

Owner's Comments: Ron Paul is a nutcase, pure and simple. He is not a "Conservative", He is not a "Liberal" he is a nutcase. This latest trip in lala land is more than enough reason to label him unelectable and drop him from any more exposure on this site.

Congressman Ron Paul Expresses Concern Over the Future of the U.S. Dollar

When Congressman Ron Paul announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States, we immediately expressed our support, as did many of our colleagues - Jay Taylor, Rick Rule, Doug Casey, Roger Weigand, Ben Johnson and a host of others. We began to discuss issues with the congressman and Jeff Deist, a senior member of his staff, each week on The Korelin Economics Report in order to make listeners aware of his views. We also posted a video of an interview with him which we did in San Francisco at the Gold Show on our website and on You Tube, which has been watched by thousands of people.

Why did we devote 20% of our program to the Congressman? Purely and simply because we believe that his views of the U.S. economy are spot on. For the past fifteen years we have presented all the economic views that we are aware of, both positive and negative. Each week we have guests who agree with the conventional financial press and those who disagree. We do this because we believe that people need to be aware of all sides of the issues so that they can effectively make up their own minds.

This Commentary has been posted because once again there is NO real news story about Ron Paul. Please read the rest of this commentary at: http://www.kitco.com/ind/korelin/apr262007.html

Ron Paul: The Tip of the Spear

Ron Paul is a civil constitutionalist. He supports the same ideals of peaceful, non-intervention in foreign policy and for the same reasons as did our founding fathers. (the substance of which can be reviewed in a previous article here)

But make no mistake, the founding fathers were “armed and dangerous” in response to tyranny….. and so is Ron Paul.

Owners Comments: If you read this entire commentary, and yes I am aware of how hard it is to read that much nonsense, then you will understand just how full of fertlizer that Ron Paul and his supporters are. The very concept that our DEFENDING ourselves in the war on terror is "interventionalism" is insulting.

Paul votes against bill

March 24, 2007 - Posted at 12:00 a.m.
BY DAVID HEIBEL - VICTORIA ADVOCATE

Republican Ron Paul's "no" vote against a spending measure that passed the House on Friday was based on economics not war, while Democrats Ruben Hinojosa of Mercedes and Lloyd Doggett of Austin said "yes" to force the president to bring the troops out of Iraq by next year.

"Ron Paul has consistently voted against supplemental appropriations legislation," said Tom Lizardo, chief of staff for the Surfside Beach congressman. "The only supplemental appropriations legislation Ron Paul has ever voted for was the original appropriation in response to the 9/11 attacks for the Afghanistan effort against the Taliban. ... Both the war-related and non-war-related spending proposed by the legislation was off budget and fiscally irresponsible.

Owner Comments: Ron Paul continues to prove he is NOT a republican or a conservative. His refusal to support the War, the troops or the nation is an embarresment to the people of Texas!

RON PAUL: US GOING BROKE

The Coming Entitlement Meltdown
by Ron Paul

David Walker, Comptroller General at the Government Accountability Office, appeared on the show “60 Minutes” last evening to discuss the federal budget outlook. If you saw the show, you know that he painted a very sobering picture regarding the federal government’s ability to meet its future obligations.

If you didn’t see the show, Mr. Walker’s theme was simple: government entitlement spending is like a runaway freight train headed straight at American taxpayers. He singled out the Medicare prescription drug bill, passed by Congress at the end of 2003, as “probably the most fiscally irresponsible piece of legislation since the 1960s.”

Potential presidential candidate Ron Paul makes exploratory swing through Derry

By Eric Parry , Staff writerEagle-Tribune

DERRY, N.H. - A small crowd greeted Ron Paul in Derry last night, but those in attendance were hopeful about the Texas representative's presidential chances.

"He's the only person I could think of voting for," said John Connell of Salem. "He's the only guy who practices what he preaches."

Paul acknowledged he doesn't have the ability to raise as much money as the front-runners in the presidential race but he shared his beliefs about small government and limited taxes to a group of about 20 people at the Marion Gerrish Community Center. The meeting was his effort to gauge whether there's enough support for him to enter the presidential race.

My greatest hope is that this Worthless Anti-American lowlife devotes so much time to getting elected President that he loses his Congressional seat. The fact that he represents Texas is a constant source of irratation to me and many other Conservative Republicans. Normally I would brand him a RINO and riducle him on that basis ---- Ron Paul goes beyond RINO he definately falls in the Nancy Pelosi, Hanoi Jane, John Kerry and Jimmy Carter catageory of Idiocy.

Ron Paul Introduces Industrial Hemp Bill in US Congress

Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul has filed a bill that would legalize hemp farming in the United States. This marks the second time Rep. Paul has filed this bill, but it went nowhere in the last Congress. The bill, HR 1009, would allow domestic hemp manufacturers to buy their hemp from American producers. Currently, US law bars the production of industrial hemp, and American manufacturers have to import their hemp from other countries.

This time around, Rep. Paul has nine cosponsors, all Democrats. They are Representatives Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Barney Frank (D-MA), Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Jim McDermott (D-WA), George Miller (D-CA), Pete Stark (D-CA) and Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).
Yes, I know it is confusing. Ron Paul is running as a Republican and all of his buddies are democrats. That is of course why Ron Paul is a "FRINGE" canidate.

In Congress, Opposing the War but Doing Nothing to Stop It

by Ron Paul

This grand debate is welcomed but it could be that this is nothing more than a distraction from the dangerous military confrontation approaching with Iran and supported by many in leadership on both sides of the aisle.

This resolution, unfortunately, does not address the disaster in Iraq. Instead, it seeks to appear opposed to the war while at the same time offering no change of the status quo in Iraq. As such, it is not actually a vote against a troop surge. A real vote against a troop surge is a vote against the coming supplemental appropriation that finances it. I hope all of my colleagues who vote against the surge today will vote against the budgetary surge when it really counts: when we vote on the supplemental.
