WASHINGTON A Republican presidential candidate is showing his support for the Pentagon's top general, who's come under fire for his comments about gays.
Kansas Senator Sam Brownback is looking for signatures on a letter supporting Peter Pace, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Brownback will be forwarding the letter to President Bush.
